Book Formatting
After your manuscript has been edited, the next step is formatting it for publication, which is also called typesetting. This process includes laying out the main text and other elements into pages for the interior of your print book and formatting them as a reflowable e-book.
I use Vellum software to create template-based layouts that are appropriate for most fiction and many nonfiction books. Some nonfiction books call for a highly customized, design-forward, or artsy layout. If your book needs this kind of treatment, I can refer you to a colleague who does this kind of work.
Typesetting/ Book Layout
After your manuscript has been copyedited and all the changes have been incorporated, I’ll create a template-based layout for your print book interior and e-book files using Vellum. These are some of the features Vellum layouts can include:

-
copyright page
-
table of contents
-
